The following guide is designed to give you all of the information you will need to request the use of the Downtown Cornerstone Church’s (DCC’s) building for your wedding ceremony. Note, at this time DCC may only be reserved for wedding ceremonies (no receptions). If you have further questions, or would like to set up a time to tour the building, please email to .

BOOKING THE SPACE

If you’d like to reserve DCC’s Building for your wedding, please follow the below steps:

3 | Complete the Reservation Form
Complete the reservation form below to submit your request. We will follow up with you within 3 business days.

4 | Submit Payment
Once we have approved your request, a deposit of 50% of the total cost is required to secure the reservation. Deposits must be paid via check and sent to DCC’s mailing address. The remainder of the rental fees and cleaning deposit must be provided one week prior to your wedding day.

SPACE USE INFORMATION

All couples who wish to use DCC’s facilities must abide by all of the rules and regulations set out below:

  • All weddings held at the DCC’s building must be performed by a DCC pastor. In order to be married by a DCC pastor, you must complete DCC’s Building a Strong Marriage class. Please click HERE to register.
  • All weddings dates must be reserved through our on-site wedding ceremony coordinator. Request of the facility does not guarantee availability.
  • No weddings may be scheduled on Sundays.
  • The Building may only be used for wedding ceremony. All reception activities must take place off site.
  • A 50% deposit of total rental fees is required to hold the reservation. The remainder of rental fees are due one week before the wedding day.
  • Any additional fees should be given to the on-site coordinator at the wedding rehearsal, to be distributed the day of the ceremony.

Rental costs and Personnel Fees

There is a base rental fee of $600.00 for the use of the auditorium, which covers both the rehearsal (up to 2 hours) and the wedding ceremony (up to 5 hours). The base fee also includes use of one room in the children’s area for bridal preparation and use of the conference room for groomsmen. These areas are available for up to 5 hours on the day of the wedding. This base fee also covers the employment of DCC’s facility lead to be present on site and a production technician to run sound, video, and lights. A discount is available to Members of DCC.

A $200 cleaning deposit is required, which will be fully refunded if the auditorium and all wedding party spaces used are returned to the a clean condition. If these conditions are not met, the deposit will not be returned in order to cover the cost of cleaning and preparing the space for worship.

If you’d like to provide parking for your guests on your wedding day, you have the option to reserve the two lots located next to The Building. The lots provide up to 60 spaces – cost and availability varies. At your request, DCC will manage the reservation of the lots. Lot reservation is available for the ceremony only (not for rehearsal).

Decorations and Food

  • DCC’s coordinator or DCC staff must approve all wedding decorations.
  • Absolutely no thumbtacks, nails, etc. may be used in decorating the building.
  • Confetti and rice are prohibited for exit from the building; birdseed and bubbles are acceptable alternatives.
  • No alcohol may be served or consumed on the premises at any time.

Insurance

Non-members of Downtown Cornerstone Church must secure a liability ride of one million dollars per occurrence, with a five million dollar general liability umbrella and attach documentation to their signed agreement. You may obtain this “one-day” policy by speaking with your insurance agent, or researching on the internet. DCC requires evidence of this coverage mailed or emailed to us by one month prior to the wedding date.

Pre-Marital Counseling

DCC’s Pre-marital counseling is required to be married by a DCC pastor and to use DCC building. To learn more email .

Rehearsal

Attendance at the wedding rehearsal is mandatory for all members of the wedding party. DCC’s coordinator will arrive ½ hour before the rehearsal to open up the building; the wedding party will have 1.5 hours for the rehearsal.

Cancellations

  • Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to the wedding will receive a full refund, minus 20% of the deposit. No payments will be required for the pastor, sound technician, or wedding coordinator. Cleaning deposit will be refunded in full.
  • Cancellations made 30 days or less prior to the wedding will receive a full refund, minus 25% of the deposit. No payments will be required for the pastor, sound technician, or wedding coordinator. Cleaning deposit will be refunded in full.
  • Cancellations made within 1 week of the wedding will receive a full refund, minus 30% of the total rental cost. No payments will be required for the pastor, sound technician, or wedding coordinator. Cleaning deposit will be refunded in full.
