Ladies, we invite you to join us for our Women’s Retreat on Friday, February 9th and Saturday, February 10th. Led by speaker Jani Ortlund, this will be a relational, interactive weekend with singing, mingling, food, discussion, and times of learning, reflection, and prayer. The theme for our weekend together is ‘Delighting in Christ’. What does it mean to be “in Christ”? How do we come to rest there—to stay there? How can our identity in Christ expand from one of duty to delight? And what can we trust Christ in those inevitable dry and barren desert experiences?

WHEN. Friday, February 9th (6:00pm) – Saturday, February 10th (8:00pm)
– Registration begins at 6:00pm on Friday evening and the first session will begin at 7:30pm.
– You are welcome to arrive at Warm Beach as early as 4:00pm and enjoy the facilities.
– If you are joining for Saturday only, plan to arrive at 8:00am.

Registration is $100/person. This will include 1-night lodging, 3 meals (Saturday breakfast, lunch, dinner), late night snacks on Friday, and all materials. Saturday only registration is $60/person.
Scholarships: To request scholarship funds, indicate your need on your registration form and we’ll help offset the cost of attendance, as needed. A 50% discount will be available to all college students, email firstname.lastname@example.org for details.
Refunds/Cancellations: For a full refund, cancellation must be made by Sunday, February 4th. Cancellations on or after February 4 are not eligible for a refund.
Room types will be randomly assigned in either the motel-style Olympic View Lodge or dorm-style (bathroom down the hall) Cascadian Lodge. You can indicate room sharing preferences within the registration form and we will aim to assign rooms based on communities/neighborhood with each woman in her own bed. Rooms can accommodate up to three women, each sleeping in their own bed/pull-out/or trundle, or up to four women with two sharing a queen-sized bed. Bedding and towels will be provided for you.
Drive time is approximately 1.5 hours from downtown Seattle, carpooling is encouraged. From Seattle, drive north on I-5 and follow the steps below:
Once you register, you will be emailed a link to our online carpooling coordination tool. You can sign up to drive others, or request a ride via this link.
On Saturday morning there will be three workshops taught by DCC members that you can choose from, ranging from topics of lamenting to the means of grace. Be praying for our ladies as they prepare!
We’ll have a few hours of free time on Saturday afternoon with weather-dependent options for basketball, volleyball, tennis, disc golf, or mini golf, and trail-walking (all free to participate). If you’d rather stay indoors, opt for a nap in your room, read or play board games in one of the hangout spaces or join one of the three informal Q&A discussions regarding singleness, marriage, and parenting.
WHAT TO BRING.
In addition to normal items and toiletries, please be sure to pack your Bible, journal, and pen.
Please note Cornerstone Kids will not be provided. As we’d love for this time to be a retreat for the ladies, we encourage husbands, family, or friends to help care for children during this time.
