A small letter–the Apostle Paul’s shortest–but one full of meaning, Philemon is a gospel goldmine about forgiveness and the incredible practicality of the gospel. In it, the apostle, imprisoned in Rome, writes an intercessory letter between a runaway slave and his master, both of whom Paul has led to Christ, in an effort to reconcile them to each other as brothers in the faith.

Where there are people, there is inevitable conflict. This sermon series covers a wide array of topics raised by this powerful story, including our human struggles with relationships, the humility and courage required to ask for forgiveness, the genuine extension of real forgiveness to those who have sinned against us, and how to view our struggles in the context of God’s larger purposes.
