Today in Mark 4:1-20 we explore one of Jesus’ most well-known parables, the parable of the sower (cf Mt 13; Lk 8). This parable explains why we react to the Gospel in so many different ways. Jesus highlights that how we respond to him and what our relationship with him looks like ultimately depends on the condition of our heart – and it's the condition of our heart that determines the course of our life, in this one and the next.
