This morning we continue our series in the Gospel of Luke, one of four eyewitness
accounts of Jesus’ words and works. In them we learn of his life, death, and
resurrection to rescue his people from among the nations—even us. Today, we
reach the Parable of the Dishonest Manager. Here Jesus calls us, as deeply loved
children of God, to live shrewdly in this world for things that will last in the next.
