Note: We have a big need for volunteers in our CKids Equipping Hour classes, particularly for Nursery to 5 years old. If you are a member willing to serve, please learn more here.
Beginning September 21, we’re rolling out a new discipleship rhythm called Equipping Hour. Every Sunday at 9am, we will host classes for all ages and interests as an opportunity to further grow in knowledge of the Lord.
A flexible way to consistently grow
We know that growth in godliness takes time and study, and we know weekly schedules can seem to hinder that. With these classes, participate as you are able. Whether once a month or weekly, we want you to jump in when you can and try different classes based on what interests you.
An additional learning opportunity beyond our Sunday Gathering
There is so much more that we might want to discuss outside our Sunday Gathering. We’re not in it for big heads; we’re after bigger hearts.
An added avenue for those who want to grow as Bible teachers
Our idea from the beginning is that DCC would be a teaching hospital, a place where disciples make disciples and Bible teachers pass the inherited Gospel to the next generation.
CKids and CYouth classes are offered every Sunday during adult classes and will all be based on the same Gospel-centered curriculum, varying in level of depth.
CKids: Nursery-2 Years, 3-5 Years, 1st-5th Grade
Parents, please lead your kids downstairs to CKids check-in before going to your class.
CYouth: 6th-12th Grade
Youth should check in with their CYouth leader upon arrival in the Commons area.
*Availability is first come, first serve. If no spots are available, kids are invited to join their parent(s) in class.
Adults have the option of 4 concurrent classes. You can drop in and out of different classes based on what interests you most. If you intend to participate in some way, please register. It doesn’t mean you are committing to every single week, but that you plan to participate to some degree. See the current class descriptions and schedule below:
