Walking by the Spirit

Galatians, Media, Sermons | by Pastor Adam Sinnett

Galatians

Today, in Galatians 5:16-26, Paul helps us understand how to walk by the Spirit and not gratify the desires of the flesh. He exhorts us to pursue holiness and to not live according to our selfish desires or the desires of the world and instead live for the desires of the spirit to glorify God.

Standing Firm in Our Freedom

Galatians, Media, Sermons | by Pastor Adam Sinnett

Galatians

The book of Galatians is a letter written to a group of local churches in the region of Galatia, which Paul planted during his first missionary journey (see Acts 13-14). These were young churches, filled with young Christians who were learning what it meant to follow Jesus. After his departure, men arrived who began to challenge Paul’s authority and change his message, the gospel. Today, in 5:1-15, Paul urges us to stand firm in the freedom that is ours in Jesus.
