God’s Glory as Fuel for God’s Mission

, Media, New Year Essentials 2020, Sermons | by Pastor Adam Sinnett

New Year Essentials 2020

This sermon concludes a set of annual sermons we refer to as our New Year Essentials. These sermons address subjects and important themes that we must repeatedly return to for the glory of God and the transformation of our inner and outer lives. These are not, of course, the same sermons. Rather, they are different sermons, taking different angles, on issues we need to come back to again-and-again. Today, in Isaiah 40:12-26, we consider God’s glory as the fuel for God’s mission.

The Salvation of Yahweh

Major Prophets, Media, Sermons | by Pastor Adam Sinnett

Major Prophets

We are beginning a brand new series through the Major Prophets: Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, and Daniel. While we typically study books of the Bible verse-by-verse, at times it is helpful to step back to survey the bigger picture. Truth is truth, whether we happen to be looking at its individual parts or the sum of the whole. Today, we begin our study with the book of Isaiah. He challenges us to examine our hearts and ways we misplace our trust—and, even more, to make Yahweh our everything.

An Invitation to Satisfaction

Media, Other Sermons | by Pierce Martin

Other Sermons
This morning we look at what it means to be satisfied. Christianity is about finding our soul's deepest satisfaction in the God who ardently desires to give it to us in Him. Isaiah 55:1-3 expresses God's call to His people to leave that which does not fill for Him who alone satisfies. In Christ God offers us something infinitely better than our own striving- A real and lasting relationship with Him.
