Love One Another

Media, One Another'ing, Sermons | by Pastor Marco Ribeiro

One Another'ing

We continue our One Another’ing sermon series, which looks at the countercultural character of Jesus’ church, through the 50+ “one another” commandments. We are empowered by the gospel to love one another, to serve, to encourage, to forgive, to disciple, to pray, to show hospitality to one another, and much more. Today, we’ll be looking at Jesus’ commandment that we love one another as he has loved us.

The Glory of Jesus’ Incarnation

Christmas, Media, Sermons | by Pastor Adam Sinnett

Christmas

Merry Christmas! Christmas, from Christ-mass, marks the arrival of Jesus the Christ, the God-Man, who came to seek and save the lost (Lk. 19:10). While the stories surrounding his arrival are commonplace, He is not common. There is no one like him, which is why the Apostle Paul described his own ministry as one of proclaiming the “unsearchable riches of Christ” (Eph. 3:8). This Christmas Eve, we consider just one of those riches—the glory of Jesus’ incarnation.

Belonging to Jesus

In Christ: What it means to belong to God, Media, Sermons | by Pastor Adam Sinnett

In Christ: What it means to belong to God

This morning we are continuing our sermon series, “In Christ”. The primary question this series aims to answer is, “What does it actually mean to be a Christian?” Or, to put it differently, “What does it mean to belong to God?” Today, in John 17:20-26, we consider how Jesus’ people belong to God and are, therefore, considered one with him.

The Good Shepherd

Media, Other Sermons | by Pastor Adam Sinnett

Other Sermons
This morning we are (unexpectedly) pausing our study through the Sermon on the Mount to consider one of the most personal images Jesus uses to describe how he relates to his people – as the good shepherd. What image comes to mind when you think of Jesus? Maybe, king? Or, savior? Or, friend? What about shepherd? This image has comforted millions of Jesus’ people for over 2,000 years. There is more being communicated here than a mere quaint ancient near east metaphor.

A Table for Many

Media, Other Sermons | by Pastor Craig Sturm

Other Sermons
We live in the most connected time in history, yet people feel more isolated and disconnected than ever. This morning we will think through this disconnect and specifically dig into how God, through the redeeming work of Jesus, has called his sons and daughters into a new family – the beauty and value of which can only be fully appreciated and experienced as we are regularly connected in meaningful relationships in which we can know and be known.

In Christ: Our Living Union

Disciple: Living For Jesus, Media, Sermons | by Pastor Adam Sinnett

Disciple: Living For Jesus

The first sermon of the series, we begin with what it means to be “in Christ” – also known as our union with Christ. This union is the beginning, middle, and end of all our discipleship. To be in Christ is an invitation to evaluate our identity in a new way. Our identity in Christ is the heart of what it means to be Christian. In Christ we are a new creation, and experience a dynamic, relational oneness with Christ. As we focus on four different aspects of this union, we see that we are represented by Jesus, that He becomes the foundation of our life, that we are loved with the same love the Father has for the Son, and that we now live before the face of God. Our greatest treasure is being in Christ.
