Disability Ministry

Our vision for the disability ministry is to make DCC a place of belonging for people with disabilities. Our unity as a body of Christ shows off the glories of our Lord and Savior, Jesus (1 Cor. 1). To that end, we endeavor to include every person who enters our doors into the life of our church.

The Glory of God in Human Disability

We recognize that including people with disabilities into the life of DCC requires humility, creativity, and personal sacrifice. DCC, therefore, is seeking to grow in this area. You can learn more about what the Bible has to say about Disability by checking out this sermon, “The Glory of God in Human Disability”.

Programs

CKids Buddy Program

We aim to include every child within the worship and ministry of DCC. To accomplish this, we offer to pair a volunteer, a Buddy, with a person who has a disability to support them in fully engaging in discipleship, worship, and fellowship settings. You can learn more about Buddies by reading the volunteer description.

Access Bible Study

Access Bible Study is an Equipping Hour class created to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The class focuses on helping participants grow in Christ and build fellowship with others. During the class time, we study the Scripture that will be preached in the sermon. We also welcome DCC members as guests to help strengthen connections within the body. If you would like to join the Access class or would like to learn more, email
