Join us for our annual Serve the City event, this year in our very own neighborhood, at Myrtle Edwards Park, on Saturday, July 9th, from 9 am – 1 pm.
In partnership with the Seattle City Parks department and Belltown United, we will gather to serve our city together through a variety of cleaning and landscaping projects.
As a church, we believe that we’ve been infinitely loved and served by God, through the person and work of Jesus. Because of that, we believe that the good news of the Gospel is not only shared in word but demonstrated in our actions. Serving is not just “giving back,” but a tangible pointer to the Gospel of Jesus Christ – serving as we’ve been served, in Christ.
This year, we’ve got the opportunity to serve locally here in Belltown, to be a positive presence in our neighborhood, and work together with our neighbors to maintain and improve Myrtle Edwards Park.
Everyone! Whether you are new to the city, a Seattle native, single, married, wanting to bring a friend, or the whole family, there’s something for everyone to do. Families and kids are encouraged to serve together.
We’re aiming for 100-150 people to serve together, to make a big impact on the park!

That’s ok, join us anyway! Whether you can come for a bit or all 4 hours, we’d love to have you. Simply check-in at the DCC tent when you arrive.
Bring a raincoat! Rain or shine, we’ll be there.
