This morning we continue our series in the Gospel of Luke, one of four eyewitness accounts of Jesus’ words and works. In them we learn of his life, death, and resurrection to rescue his people from among the neighborhoods of Seattle and the nations of the world. Today, we reach the famous Garden of Gethsemane, as Jesus continues his way to the cross. It’s here, in this garden, that He embraces the cup of God’s wrath, so that we could be embraced by the Father instead.
