Today, we begin a new series in the book of Colossians. This letter is about the supremacy of Christ in making us alive and how made-alive-ones are to live. Paul shrewdly sets the stage by opening with reassuring gratitude—showing us that we, too, should give thanks to God for the true gospel that’s bearing fruit among us.
